When you call you will need to know what type of features your vehicle has. For example some vehicles have rain sensors, lane departure warning systems, heads up displays, electrochromic mirrors, Condensation sensors, Heated Windshield Wiper park areas, Night Vision Equipped Windshields, Logos (Mustangs, SuperDuty, Ram, Rams Head), Bronze Tinted Windshields, Forward Collison Alert systems, Keyless entry, sunroof, 2 door or 4 door.
When calling in for a replacement quote please let us know you need a “back glass” or “back window replacement” some people say I need a “rear windshield” or “rear window back glass” as long as you tell us it’s a “rear window back glass replacement” or “the glass that is opposite the windshield “we will understand what you are talking about. We will need to know if your vehicle is a sedan or coupe because the glass can be different. Some Back Glass are Lift Gate Windows and require additional hardware like moldings for example when doing the replacement. Some glass like suburbans and Excursions have two hinged doors and actually have 2 back glass windows so in this case we will need to know if it’s the glass that is on the drivers side or the glass that is on the passengers side.
When you call with a truck we will need to know if it’s a 2 Door or 4 door. Is your truck a Standard cab, Supercab, Crew Cab or Extended Cab? If you need Back Glass Replacement on a Truck we will need to know if the back glass is privacy tinted first and foremost. Then we will ask if it’s one piece/stationary or If your back glass is movable we will need to know if it’s powered or a manual slider. Some manufacturers allow you to interchange windows and replace a slider or powered window with one piece if you ever decide you need to do that some people do that to reduce the overall replacement cost because powered windows and sliders tend to be more expensive to replace. Heated Glass/Rear Defrost- Some vehicles can come heated or with rear defrost. If you have either option please let us know.
We can replace any door glass or side glass. We work on both powered (automatic) and manual door glass windows. When you call you will need to tell us which glass part you will need us to replace. The best way is to give an explanation of where the glass part is located for example.

Door Glass can come privacy tinted. We have had customers need door glass for various reasons like if their vehicle got broken into or if they were following a truck to closely and their side window got broken out due to road debris flying up and hitting their window. We can typically replace any door glass the same day. We do vacuum the broken glass out of the door panel and make sure we clean the inside of the car completely. Broken glass can be very sharp making it very dangerous for passengers. Some companies may quote you a very low price but they will not do the job right and then you will end up with remaining glass in your door or vehicle causing you problems in the future. Glass that get’s stuck in the door will rattle and will become very annoying.
Also some vehicles can be tricky to fix for example Volkswagen vehicles have window reset procedures that need to be followed to correctly replace a door glass on a VW. Doors can be delicate and some companies can scratch, scuff or break other parts during the replacement process like a regulator. We have experienced installers that will do the job the right way.
We replace all quarter glass windows. We will need to know if you need the rear drivers side quarter glass or rear passengers side quarter glass window replaced. Some windows can have a Privacy Tint or even a bronze tint for example some Lexus vehicles have Bronze tinted windows. We also will need to know if the window has an antenna attached to it.
